In reply to your letter of May 16, I think it would be a very good idea for us to prepare the apple powder for your experiment, since we have all the apparatus necessary and are already experienced in making it. Before I can assure you definitely that we will make it, pro vided of course that you still want us to do so when the time comes, it will be necessary for me to secure the formal approval of the Head of the Department and Dean of the College. I have been trying to secure an interview for this purpose and will let you know definitely after I have seen him.
