In response to your letter of May 20, 1974, we have prepared a list of purchasers of blends contaIn!ng vinyI chloride monomer from our Aerosol Propellants Section. We first sold these blends commercially In 1964, Dut our records only cover purchases since I960. Attached as Exhibit "A" Is a tabulation respondino to items I and 2 of your letter viz. (1) names and addresses of customers from 1959 - February 1974, with the name of individual contact, If known, and (2) our best estimate of whether customer markets under its own label, Is a contract packer or both. Those customers with an asterisk purchased only small quantities at some time during tho last five (5) years believed to be for limited laboratory investigation. We. regard this tabulation as containing "business confidential1' information and ask that you treat it as such. Since we are not always aware of what use our customers make of the products which we sell them, wo cannot provide the information requested by Item 3 of your letler concerning which of our customers market consumer products subject to the Federal Hazardous Substances Act. In resDonse to item 4 of your letter, our initial commercial sales of propellant blends containi no vinyl chloride monomer were in 1964 and we discontinued sell inn such blends in February of 1974. In response to item 3 of your letter,'we have no information about our customers' current inventories or inventory turnover rates. In response tc item 6 of your letter, we have no information concerning other uses, former or present, of vinyl chloride monomer in any other consumer products.
