As reflected on the sheet the residual VCM monomer levels in our commercial compounds are less than 1.0 ppm. In fact the levels are consistently below 0.1 ppm. Exposure measurements taken on personnel handling these compounds have shown little or no exposure to VCM. Subsequently the potential for a fire hazard created by residual VCM levels is slight. The vinyl chloride warning label on our shipping containers must appear due to requirements in the OSHA Vinyl Chloride Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1017. Please let me know if you need further information.
