Hr. Francis B. Elder, Associate Secretary Committee on Laboratory Methods The American Public Health Association, Inc. 1790 Broadway New York 19, Mew York
Dear Mr. Elder:
The Preface which you propose for the revised booklet, "Methods for Determining Lead in Air and in Biological Materials" appears to me to be satisfactory as written. My only correction is in the degree shown after my name under the Subcommittee listing. Will you please change Ph.D. to Ch.E.
I can offer no assistance on the desirability of listing the membership of the other committees Which you mention. I prefer to have others who are more familiar with Association policy and practice decide on this matter.
Very truly your
