Aurelia,
It was a pleasure speaking with you today and to be able to provide a status update on the National Park Service's review of the Atlantic Coast Pipeline's applications to construct under the Blue Ridge Parkway. For your ready reference I have provided copies of ACP's suggested edits to the draft construction and operations permits. Also, please find attached a schedule prepared by the Park Service identifying required information and an estimated schedule for obtaining the final Right-of-Way permit. This schedule was prepared on June 22 and some dates have slipped. We have provided the following documents to NPS as required:
1. Signed plats and legal descriptions of the Blue Ridge Parkway crossing by the horizontal directional drill (HDD) construction method and the contingency Direct Pipe construction method provided on 8/2/17.
2. HDD and contingency Direct Pipe profile drawings provided on 8/11/17.
3. Appraisal of crossing area.
4. Bond calculation provided on 9/5/17. NPS accepted on 9/11/17.
5. Certificate of Insurance on 9/18/17.
6. Virginia State Historic Preservation Officer (SHPO) concurred with NPS finding of No Adverse Effect. 7. Edits provided to NPS draft construction and draft operations permit on 9/21/17. The construction document had email transmission difficulties so it was a couple of weeks delayed in NPS being able to open the document. Awaiting response.
We stand ready to resolve any outstanding issues.
Thank you,
Ann
