Widths--"Quilt" is made in 36" and 18" widths. 18" "Quilt" is quickly ap plied between studs and roof rafters.
Thicknesses -- Cabot's "Quilt" is made in Single-Ply (X), about H" thick. Double-Ply (XX), about Y" thick. Triple-Ply (XXX), about %" thick; and Inch "Quilt," about 1" thick.
Tests--Conducted by Prof. Gordon B. Wilkes, of the Massachusetts Insti tute of Technology, show heat savings by the use of Cabot's "Quilt."
For insulating walls and roofs of buildings against cold in winter and heat in summer. For insulating cold storage and ice houses, refrigerators, air conditioned trains, etc.
For sound-proofing partitions, floors and
ventilating ducts. High Insulation Value--Cabot's "Quilt"
has an insulation value of inch for inch, excelled or equalled by only two other insulators.
U. S. Bureau of Standards--Letter Circular No. 227, reporting tests of numerous insulating materials, gives Cabot's "Quilt" a Thermal Conductivity rating of 0.25 per inch of thickness.
Permanent--Cabot's "Quilt" will last as long as the building, ft will not pack down, disintegrate, rot or harbor insects or vermin. It is not injured by water or frost.
Fire Resistant--Standard "Quilt" is natu rally fire resistant. Anti-Pyre "Quilt" meets rigid requirements of fireproof construction.
Flexible--Easily Installed--"Quilt" is flex ible, fits into corners and round projections without cracking. Requires no costly special preparation or smoothing of walls or floors. Easily adaptable to lining or covering venti
lating ducts. Types---Standard "Quilt," with Kraft
covers; Anti-Pyre "Quilt," with specially treated non-inflammable Kraft covers; Asbes tos "Quilt," with asbestos covers; Waterproof "Quilt," with waterproof paper covers.

eagle industrial insulation
The Eagle- Picher Lead Company manu factures a complete line of industrial in sulation materials, effective for a com plete range of temperatures. Representa tive products are:
Eagle "66" Plastic Insulation
For application on practically all forms of heat producing and heat transferring equipment. "Springy ball" construction provides remarkable heat-saving efficiency up to 1800 F. Easily applied with a trowel. May be applied on any clean surfaces. Great coverage--50 sq. ft. 1 in. thick per 100 lb. 100 per cent reclaimable.
Eagle Blanket Insulation
Eagle Insulating Wool felted and se cured between metal fabrics. For large sur faces where tempera- f tures reach as high as 1200 F. Available in EaQb "66" quickly apflexible or rigid form. Easy to cut and fit. Sizes--2 ft x 4 ft and 2 ft x 8 ft. Thick nesses range between 1 in. and 8 in.
.Eagle Asbestos Cements
Inexpensive asbestos fibre cements of good mixing, trowelling and adhesive properties. For temperatures up to 1000 F.
Eagle Insulseal (Waterproofing Cement)
Durable coating designed to protect all kinds of insulation from moisture, water, air infiltration, fumes; from vibration, abrasion. Ready mixed, easily and quickly applied.
Eagle "99" Finishing Cement
Gives exposed surface of insulation a nrm, smooth white finish. Adheres to hot or cold surfaces. Will not crack, break, Peel off. Easy.to paint.
EAGLE HOME INSULATION
The Eagle-Picher Lead Company manu factures two types of "mineral wool" in sulation for homes; (1) in granulated form for pneumatic application in new and existing construction. (2) in bat form for new construction.
Both types are wall-thick, non-structural, extremely light-weight, non-cor rosive, fire-proof--with thermal conduc: tance (in applied thickness of 3^ in.) of only 0.074 Btu. (The over-all. con
ductance-would be considerably lower).
Eagle Home In sulation keeps;
homes cooler in summer (12 to 15 deg cooler than
outdoor tempera tures), and warmer, in winter (fuel'

per cent).
For Pneumatic Application
In granulated form, Eagle Insulation is blown into hollow spaces between wall
studdings and between joists in the attic floor by a special pneumatic process. No
building alterations are necessary, whether the house is of frame, brick or stucco con struction. No mussing up inside. Work is done by skilled contractors, licensed by Eagle-Picher.
Bat Form
Eagle wall-thick bats quickly installed in new construction
Eagle Insulat ing Bats are rec
tangular pads 15 in. x 18 in. x 3%
in., designed to fit snugly between
studding and joists. Irregular Spaces around doors and
windows filled by cutting bats to exact size.
