Snith September 11, 1972 SUBJECT: IMPERIAL QT-SPRAY TEXTURE - NGN-ASEE3103 FORMULA We are pleased to announce the release of Imperial QT Spray Texture Non-Asbestos formula in all three aggregated forms - Perlite, Vermlculite and Polystyrene. This product complies with all current ecology regulations. At the same time it is equal to or better than present formulations of Imperial QT Spray Textures. Appearance, whiteness, texture, mixing and application . directions remain unchanged in this premium USG celling texture product. In addition, USG will certainly be among the first to offer a non-asbestos product - a major selling feature for sales to promote with your dealers and trade factors. Concurrent with this announcement we wish also to announce that the old asbestos formulation' will no longer be produced and that the Imperial QT Texture NC4 is also discontinued. Technical literature reflecting these changes will be revised in the near future. Please note that the Polystyrene formula is currently available in Dallas and Midway Plant shipping area.
