Inview of the above, to check with Home office of Sontlnental and make sure that all they divisional offices are supplied with our instructions.
They had no information as to any storage tanks ever having been spiked but could not be sure and suggested that we secure that information from their Vice President incharge of manufacturering at Ponca City,0kl.
Two men,do"all tank cleaning. It is estimated that they spend less than 1% of their time on such work. They are equiped with air line masko but do not use any special clothing except for cleaning tank3 that have contained leaded gasoline, in which case our instructions are followed.
Gasoline pump repairs -f minor nature are handled by one of two men metloned above^at service stations. Major repairs and overhaulin is done In shop at Butte by the above mentioned men. bout 15 or 20 pumps were repaired at Butte during the last three months. Prior to that very few had been repaired at Butte and they do not anticipate more in the near future. No special precautions are taken for this work. Shop is well ventilated having six large doors.
