Nichols observed some insulating material on top of a locker in the supervisors' locker room on the second floor. He obtained a small portion of the material, and analysis by Kemron Laboratories Indicates that It is 100 percent chryBotile (asbestos). The laboratory received the sample on November 7 and their analysis report is dated December 19, 1979, Con sequently, ve did not see the results until this week. It is doubtful if the asbestos is still there, but if so, please see that it is properly disposed of and not used, 1 know that an effort was made some time ago to eliminato all asbestos-containing materials in the foundry, but it might be well to have Mr. Monks again emphasize the need for caution in this respect.
