Kehoe The Kettering Laboratory College of Medicine -- Eden Avenue Cincinnati 19 Ohio Dear Dr. Kehoe: In answer to yours of June 20, 1950 we appreciate your advice to Dr. Townsend and are glad to know of his reaction. The blending of Vitane in Puerto Rico will not occur until the rate of sales justifies it. This will be in the near but not immediate future and we will keep you advised of our planning. Although our over-all program is continuing as I de scribed it to you and Dr. Kitzmiller on my last visit, our management has decided to postpone work on 6 cc fluid until we have made more marketing progress. The decision to post pone this work was based upon making the best current use of funds available for Vitsmeter work rather than on the over-all desirability of establishing the feasibility of using 6 cc's, I hope to advise you to start experimental, work on the 6 cc mix before too long, but nothing should be done on this phase of our work until I do forward such advice. In the meantime we should continue with plans to examine people dispensing Vitane in Cincinnati and I will shortly send a man to determine who these people are and to arrange for appointments for their examinations. Vith best regards, Very truly yours, CVK:ks cc: A. T. Colwell C. H. Van Hartesveldt K 0020679 N21978
