On new wood surfaces thin first coat in proportion of 1 qt. of linseed oil to the gallon of paint. Allow 2 or 3 days drying time then apply a coat of paint full body. This same system may be followed for new masonry or metal surfaces. On old painted surfaces, wire brush, scrape or sand surface to remove loose particles and all foreign matter. Apply one or two coats of paint. WARNING -- FLAMABLE -- Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Use with adequate ventilation. Keep container closed when not in use. May contain lead compound. Avoid prolonged or repeated breathing of vapors, spray mist, and dust when wire brushing or sanding, also pro longed or repeated contact with skin. Do not take internally.
