Present Situation
ocker room facilities, just recently modified to abide by the r, SHA lead standard, are 15 years old.
There is a clean or street clothes airea, a shower and rest room area, and a work clothes area - each separated from the other. However, our employees must pass through the shower area in their dirty work clothes-to use the rest room during the shift.
Justification
The four fifteen year old shower stalls have rusted very badly, creating an unsightly and unhealthy situation. They can no longer be cleaned and sanitized adequately.
To minimize lead dust levels in the shower room, we propose to eliminate the need for an employee to enter the shower room area in .s work clothes by installing a second door to the rest room.

Details of Proposal
Install new shower stalls and replace the shower curtains.
Install a door from the work clothes side of the locker room into one of the rest rooms to allow its use without going into the shower room.
Paint the entire locker room area.
Production Factors
This proposal will not alter product quality or production rates.
