Eklof, 16 East Franklin Street, Baltimore, Maryland, called this office today and said that while racing an outboard motor boat in Norfolk on Saturday, the boat upset and about eight gallons of racing gasoline, treated with 15 ccs. of lead, was spilled out over the water. In an effort to right the boat he was exposed to this gasoline, which floated on top of the water, for some fifteen or twenty minutes, and It was not until a couple of hours later that he was able to obtain shower facilities to properly wash the gasoline off. As a re sult of this experience, Mr. Eklof was slightly burned from ex posure to the gasoline and was very much concerned about what effect the lead may have had on him. ' I am forwarding this information to you as a matter of record, in the event that you care to report it to the Medical Department, Oil Company of New Jersey.
