My opinion was that the technique might be useful as a screening device but that it obviously could not be used to determine actual percentages of lead in paint. In reply, VITA has requested information on any potential interferences yhlch sight mask the test tresuits. I just do not have the background in analytical chemistry to answer this question and thought that per haps your paint chemists migit be abld to provide some assistance.
