Whitelam ASBESTOS DUST Our MSA representative has just informed me that a recent NIOSH criteria statement will result in MSA withdrawing asbestos dust approval for their "Dustfoe 66" filter mask. This is the mask that ve have just specified in our procedures. MSA has recommended ve adopt the Comfo II respirator in asbestos service and Z'a forwarding information on these to Paul Richards.' I would like to Insert "Comfo II" in the Saety*Kov .-ocedure in place of "Duscfoe 66" and am holding the procedure until I hear from you. You will need to change your procedure also (Issued 4/7/75) end initiate a stocking request for the Comfo II in place of the Duscfoe 66.
