I received a note in this morning's mail from Dr Leroy Gardner in which he stated you have indicated to him that you could not be present on January 31st. I hope that there may be some misunderstanding.
In your telegram of January 4th you indicated that any date during the week of January 27th would be accepta;: In my reply of the seventh I indicated that we were accordingly arranging the meeting for January 31st. In view of this circum stance and in view of the fact that our announcements have gone out I earnestly hope that you will arrange your plans to be witn us on that date.
