REGULATIONS FOR ELEVATORS (A) Rule 217 was amended to read as follows: (a) (Al) "Metal plates, with the permissible load in pounds marred thereon, shall be posted in a conspicuous place in the cars of all elevators. (b) (Al) Metal tag, on which shall be stamped the diameter, stranding and material of cables, shall be attachod to all hoisting and counter weight cables. (c) (Al) Where more than one elevator is located in a building, numbers shall be placed thereon for permanent identification."
