V % UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA jCHOOL OF MEDICINE j UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA MEDICAL CENTER SAN FRANCISCO 22, CALIFORNIA 29 January 1953 s ! Dr. Robert A. Kehoe University of Cincinnati School of Medicine Cincinnati 19, Ohio Dear Dr. Kehoe: I am interested in obtaining information concerning the willingness of your laboratory to conduct certain toxicologic examinations. Occasionally this laboratory has requests from private individuals or industrial concerns to conduct pharmacologic, toxico logic, or industrial hygiene examinations. While we attempt to accommodate these requests, we can not always do so because of presently limited facilities and certain policies which are incumbent on us as a state-supported medical school. Under the circumstances, we do not accept problems for study in which the right to publish our findings (following a reasonable period of time) is not granted. I would like to inquire whether your labora tory is in a position to accept such requests. If you do not accept studies of this kind, could you advise us of a reliable commercial laboratory to which such requests could be referred? Very truly yours. HHAtd Hamilton H.
