RE: Shanghai BHRC-TC The reason for the proposed resumption of calls was to stimulate exchange between Otto & Rich on the actual study mechanics over & above the QA/QC scope & function. At this time i.e. as the study end is in sight and individual schedules are full, there is more need than ever for good communication. I think we should try to encourage this between Rich & Otto and provide any and every opportunity - the recent reports and their interface gives us a valid reason for a call and to do this jointly is an efficient use of their time. If we can try for one such call in the month I think it might avoid problems. I think Jerry's activity is independent of this and though communication with him is always welcome - and appreciate the thought Bruce- you'll understand that it wouldn't satisfy the above. For instance Stuart & I had each taken the lead previously on calls with Otto & Richard respectively, with other TC members participating in these as schedules permitted. With the interdependency of the DP and CC studies in terms of data transfer it may make more sense now to have combined calls with Otto & Richard - again for purposes of update, identifying any potential hurdles and to facilitate exchange.
