As we discussed on the 29th, our analyses of Demin water at the Power House show no contaminants at detectable levels. Ron Billy and I

discussed the possibility that some contamination may come from the atmosphere. If so our tanks are open to the atmosphere. Ron and I gj-g going to sample the effluent from both of our tanks. This may lead us to some other conclusions. Ron and I also thought we remembered that the line we sampled the DM water from in Bldg 124 was galvanized. Are we mistaken, or was the line actually galvanized? If you have metal pipe in demin service made of anything other* than stainless, this may cause you trouble. I hope these results are of some help to you in your quest to solve you problem. Give me a call and we can discuss this further. I wrll also forward the lab results to you via the plant mail. Thanks, Dave
