Ten tom of ''Ti-Pur" LW were purchased from the Biegal Paper Company in order to extend our titanium supply. ' This material is titanium directly out of the caloiner and ground, is unwashed and contains- between 1/4 and1/2$ soluble salts. It is the aaatas type.
?/o have established temporary formulas in the .596 Line bases, substituting El-3406 for W-28, The bases involved are . 596-858, -874, -987, -996, -8014, -8062. These bases will be used principally in 409-881 Serai-Gloss White, 409-801 High Hiding Mill White, 479-767 .-Ovallte Padereoater and 479-780 Primer-Sealer.' Substitution was made on an equal hidings equal volume ratio. For details see notebook 2936, pages 66-77. .
