In view of the transfer of J. F. Herr to the Pipe Department as of June 1, I have nominated H. L. Ricker as the P & EM Division liaison with the Patent Comnittee.
He will attend all Patent Committee meetings whether or not I am able to be present, and will work with John Stelmah in transmitting and reviewing new inventions.

FUTURE MEETINGS
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide advance informa tion regarding Patent Committee meeting dates as presently scheduled through January 1965, and the general categories of subject matter to be considered at the respective meetings.
The Committee will meet in the large conference room at the Research Center on the third Wednesday of each month, except July and August, starting at 9:00 A.M. and concluding by 3:00 P.M. at the latest, but usually by 11:30 A.M. The schedule has been arranged to avoid conflicts with managers luncheon

Patent Committee Meeting
The Patent Committee will meet in the large conference room on the third floor at the Research Center, Wednesday, February 19, 1964, starting promptly at d^TOQ^a.m. to discuss the invention submissions assigned to J. J. Kelly, relating primarily to subject matter of the following Divisions and Departments: Pipe Division; Asbestos Fiber Division; Mineral and Glass Wool Fiberization (Rotary Combinations); and ACE.
The items to be considered at this meeting are listed in the attached agenda. Each representative should check the agenda in advance and be prepared to advise the Committee regarding items which are his responsibility or concerning which he has special knowledge.
You are urged to attend. If there are difficulties regarding attendance, please notify the writer.

Thank you for your letter of January 8, suggesting that J. S. Parkinson represent Piber (Glass Textiles on the Patent Cosnlttee and that H. A. Fox continue to represent Fiber Glass Insulations. This suggested arrangement suits us fine. Mr. Fox has always been a very cooperative and helpful member of the Committee, and J. S. Parkinson has assured us that he will be pleased to serve on the Committee in the capacity suggested, and of course we shall welcome his doing so.
