The architectural firm of Skidmore, Owing* and Xarrill was engaged to nek* a study of ths uaa of laad In building* and to reooaesnd method* of expanding this uaage. This report was received near tha and of September, 195. Maanwiila, ths actiritlaa of this Division war# oonductad during th* currant year without major changs.
Maid work was continued with Honor 3. Tataan contacting pitchers, city officials, builder* and sobs architects in tha interests of laad products, for tha first time wa had two four-pays catalogs in Swaet'e Catalogs for architects and light construction builders. One dealt with plushing, the other with sheet netel work. Wa continued to publieias lead usage In "lead1* and in trade mage*In**, including chemical aa well as building construction, lead Construction Bulletin No. 2 was reprinted because of the heavy demand. We exhibited at the Hass Buil ders Show, Plunders1 Show and National Chemical Kxpoaitloc. We continued to sell our book, "Lead Work for Modern Plvskbing* at cost to plaibera* apprentices. It la cm an official text book of the wilon-eponeored training progrea. We stgiplled a Judge of laad work for the international pluabers' apprentice contest and an in structor for ths instructor training program held simultaneously. We presented a paper on lead chadcal construction before the annual seating of the National Association of Ccrrcsicr. tnglreere. The Solder Committee coexisted the manuscript
for a Soldering Handbook now In process of being published by the American Welding
o Society. Considerable publicity has been obtained for lead both in building and
chadcal construction through talks before engineering and architectural group*, article* in trad* papers and in "Lead," and wide circulation of reprint* of ar ticles prepared by ua.

2t Construction Bulletins - Our series of "Lead Construction Bulletins," three of which have been issued to date, should be continued end expended.
3. Myers - Six bl-nonthly one-peg* flyer* describing specific building Job* using lead, with engineering details of the lead work, should be issued.
Lt Handbook - A handbook of details for the installation of lead work should bo published. Much of th* ground work has already been done for such a book. This would be a non-recurring expense, at least for some years.
It__ Tilting Scam of our advertising space in "%>gln**rlng Kews-Beoord" should be devoted to wch engineering applications of lead at anti-vibration pods, lubri cating bases for arches, and bearing plates for bridges*
