Employee overexposed while repairing a leak at the VCM compressor shed.
Employee overexposed while charging Line I blenders. The exact cause of his overexposure has not yet been determined.
* Respiratory protection was worn.
II. EMPLOYEE ANNUAL HEALTH TRAINING
Eight, annual health training classes were held. The training Included OSHA required instruction related to VCM, lead, asbestos, noise, and respiratory protection.
III. MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL LEAD EXPOSURE
The Maintenance worker lead dosimetry program continued through the month. The measurements, using the same protocols as with routine, Compound/Dry Blend personnel lead dosimetry, are made as maintenance work within potential lead exposure areas is performed. The results for the month are as follows:
