(Inc.), the owner, whose address Is P. 0. Box tft6, Victoria, Texas 77902, plans to remove a total of approxlmattly 2,000 square feet of asbestos containing Insulation from a deaefltor water storage tank and a deaerator heater tank. These tanks ar# located in our No. 2 Powerhouse. A powerhouse shutdown Is planned for October 8, 1984, but we will do the job sooner If an opportunity aftlft* The removal job will be supervised by Du Font personnel to Insure that proper safeguards, work practices, and disposal pro cedures are followed. All asbestos will be "wetted* before handling. Respirators and protective clothing will be worn as required. Caution signs will be appropriately placed to alert workers to the presence of asbestos and that necessary precautions RUSt be taken to enter the removal area. DUP 0821224 DV 011640 Hr. All asbestos will be placed In sealed plastic bags at the point of removal and kept sealed during movement and disposal on site.
