(AEI), AEI was to have completed the VCM cohort update by December, 1997. Due to unforseen delays in receiving necessary death certificates from several states (requested in January, 1997), we cannot meet the projected time line. Last week we received word from the New York State (last state pending) that they had completed our search request. We are now able to better project the time line necessary for completing our analyses and report, and hereby request an extension of time, without additional funding, as outlined below.
