GARTH C&P, CHESTNUT RUN STANDARDS COMMITTEE MEETING 5/14/82 at Newark " Of the eleven candidate standards now at Chestnut Run, three have been accepted by the Standards Committee: Dalamar Yellow YT-808-D, PS-81808; KroloK Red 981-D, PS-82981 and Monastral Blue RF BT-498-D, PS-81498. The status of reports for these plus those not yet completed are shown in Table I. As part of the standards evaluation program we have been revising the Guides to Standardization. Thus far, we have reviewed 25 and have modified ten. Joe Mackiewicz will issue those which have been modified. This modifi cation procedure involves consulting with industry experts at.Chestnut Run to determine which tests should be dropped and added. We have recently received the Shipping Limits for all color pigments used at Newark. Don Yonker will have responsibility for reviewing all organics and Walt Spencer all inorganics. Revisions suggested will be provided to Newark. We expect to receive a total of 16 candidate standards by the end of July. These are shown in Table II. Five of these, YT-915-D, XRT-859-D, N 26986 TO: J. A. LAMIET C&P, CHESTNUT RUN - 2- May 20, 1982 XBT-579-D, BT-565-D, and RM-881-D, are new products which have recently been or are expected to be commercialized by the end of the third quarter. We also expect to increase time spent in evaluating standards In Don Yonk.er's group during the next three months .to ensure quick evaluation.
