Some will no doubt be quite safe to use as is but each should be documented as to its status. The S Insulation Felts, numbered 50-260-030 thru 50-2S0-100 should be identified as to asbestos content, if any. The two Pipe Covering items are apparently asbestos insulating cements: `` 50-420-060 Eagle No. 66 50-420-070 Johns-Manvilie No. 575 These and other vendors should be contacted for asbestos-free substitutions. Review all items in Stores such as Thermon, Ultralite, Zeston, Fire Clay, etc. Construction Specifications - Review and revise to provide asbestos-free counterparts for existing asbestos containing materials.
