I enjoyed the opportunity to attend the recent CMA Hazardous Waste Seminar in Houston on March 6-7, 1980. As was pointed out, we in industry are facing a whole new maze of complex and sometimes over lapping environmental laws. Moreover, to meet these regulations will require a greater conmitment on our parts, to insure proper handling and final disposal of our various waste streams. This is where EMPAK, Inc. may be of vital service to your company.
As I did not have a chance to meet everyone personally, I am enclo sing some information on my company's affiliations and respective operations. As you will note from this information, we are closely involved with handling a wide range of hazardous products for various customers as well as taking care of the disposal problems that result from our own activities. With this experience, we can now offer commercial waste disposal to meet your potential needs.
Effective April, 1980 we will be soliciting hazardous liquid waste streams for deep well disposal in the Houston area. We are equipped to handle this waste by tank truck, rail car, barge and/or ship. Given our corporate and operating relationship we can offer vastly reduced disposal prices because of intra-company needs for these same services and thus cost sharing which reduces commercial end costs. Preliminary comparison with existing market prices show our services can be 20%-40% below these rates. Contractural commitments for large and continuous waste streams may further reduce treatment costs.
If in reviewing the enclosed information you have further questions, or would like to discuss the possibility of liquid waste disposal through EMPAK, please do not hesitate to contact me at your earliest convenience. In closing, I look forward to hearing from you in the near future and trust the recent conference left you with the same understanding of preserving our environment while serving our respec tive companies needs.
Very truly yours,
Eric Warner Sales Manager
