End B-330 for Asbestos A sample of dust taken from the Gasket Storage Bins at the South East end of Building 330 by G. L. Arbaugh on August 28, 1985, was analyzed for asbestos. No free asbestos fibers were found in the dust using Polerized Light Microscopy. A few "pieces" of material encapsulated in binder and identified as amosite asbestos were found in the dust. The physical nature of the "pieces" was difficult to ascertain due to the binder, but appeared to be many fibers bound together and with an overall dimension greater than 0.3 mm x 6 mm.
