In consideration of the relationships which-exist between Dr. Machie* myself and the manufac turing plant, it would be inadvisable, and in a measure dishonorable* for us to release that portion of the in i''ornati on which has come to us in confidence as consul tants of DuPont* I think, therefore* it is better that wo assemble our Information separately, that you set down as completely as possible the information available to you, and that we draw up a memorandum giving as complete notations as we find It possible to give for use when it is proper for ua to release it* I have arrived at this po-nt of view because I can see no other fashion In which we can maintain honorable relationships with DuPont as medical consultants* and because X feel that any distur bance of these relationships now or at any time would result unfortunately* Moreover, considering the fact that I have seen tho equipment In operation and that Dr* Machie has not, and In view of the fact that X am practically swamped with work at th moment, X shall for the present forego this opportunity to go to baton Rouge.
