Re: Otto Binder Dear Mr. Judd: I wish to confirm the arrangement we made this morning when you and Mr. Simpson were in Mr. Williams' office concerning Mr. Binder's future status. It is understood that Mr. Binder will be offered employment by Johns-Danville Corporation and, if he accepts our offer, 'will become a full-time employee effective as of July 1st when he is released by Metropolitan. It is our present intention to install at Manville, New Jersey, the necessary equipment which will permit Mr. Binder to perform his duties consisting of sampling, counting and analyzing dust. If these arrangements with Mr. Binder are consummated and the necessary equipment installed, we are agreeable to loan ing Mr. Binder to you from time to time for the purpose of checking dust conditions at your plants, with the understanding that, during such period as he shall be engaged upon this type of work for you, we will be reimbursed for his salary and ex penses plus such sum as shall be mutually agreed upon by you and by us as a reasonable fee for the use of our laboratory and equipment.
