Discussed the alleged lead poisoning case reported from Thermopolis, Wyoming. Mr. Paxton had heard nothing further from th e ir representative there and, Inasmuch as they had supplied th at city with very l i t t l e gasoline during the time in which poisoning was to have occurred, he was not too concerned
about i t . I gave him the information I have regarding this case, outlining our position and assuring him of our willingness to be of assistance i f they desired i t .

Also discussed gasoline sales and possible effects removal of government restrictions might have on gasoline, quality. Mr. Paxton told me th at they had ju st completed the largest business year in this
sales division's history. Ethyl sales in December. represented approximately 26% of to ta l sales and
showed a yearly increase of 109^ over 1945. Total sales show a 35% gain in Colorado and a 1,6% gain in
Wyoming over 1945.
