It has been brought to my attention that the letter did not expressly address the continuing role of American Petroleum Institute (API) as the administrator and contracting entity for the Study. The BHRC has no authority to make any commitment on behalf of API. We remain anxious to continue work on the Study and look forward to making progress in this area. In that regard, I understand API will be in contact with the appropriate parties.
