Subject: Bio-a samples - NEW lead concentrations
Hazen re-submitted the split samples of fine material that was used to determine the lead concentrations in the bioavailability samples that should now be on site at Haskel. New (and true)
lead concentrations are as.follows:
AEC 3-3
1070ppm Pb
AEC 9-3
1120ppmPb
AEC 10-1
1210ppm Pb
Note that these concentrations differ from the original readings
by a factor of 2.06X, 1.97X, and 2.05X which indicates that the
lab probably missed a back-calculation. The factors are very
lose to each other, indicating to me that the samples are well
homogenized and the "new" results are indicative of true lead
concentrations.
