Without in any way commenting on the substance of your letter--which we shall be studying carefully as a prelude to a discussion of this matter we expect to take place at the September 20 meeting--let me just say here that I hope others on the Food Packaging Materials Committee will see fit to take the time and trouble you have taken to give us your thinking. This sort of assistance is something we always desire, but receive all too seldom. I am reasonably sure that there will be a comprehensive SPI filing on the proposal so you can be assured that your work will in no sense be wasted.
