Several teams documented successes. The Compound "A" Shift implemented a procedure to label all partially used stabiliser and plasticizer drums. This eliminated a source of stabilizer and plasticiser waste. The Compound "B" Shift completed a project recommending work to improve compound mill safety. The Compound *C" Shift documented stock temperatures of different compounds. These records will be used for customer information and improve product consistency. The Compound Supervisors natural Team documented operating procedurae for products run on lines X and III. These proceduras will help product consistency. Ode customer indicated that they sew improved consistency. The Accounting Natural Team completed a project which will reduce telephone coats end improve cost capabilities. A power failure caused by a TVA transformer problem caused minimal downtime. DCS modifications in September helped to control the reaction with limited effect on quality during tills upset. 2. There was 152 hours of downtime associated with low VCM inventory. Some maintenance items were completed to coincide with the necessary downtime. 3. The new water plant produced water used by the unit this month. 121 hours of downtime were required to flush the process water header completely and wait on the results of the first batch of resin made with Coker aquifer water.
