Housekeeping was found to be poor with the exception of Department 15. Specific items on Safety S Housekeeping are as follows: Safety Items 1/6/84 item in Dept. 15/16 safety logbook not answered by 1/25. 11/29/83 Ttem in Dept. 15/16 safety logbook not answered. No signature on answer in Dept. 15/16 safety logbook. The emergency S/D training being prepared by Rudy Willis is excel 1ent. Areas requiring hearing protection are well defined. Clutter tools in fire extinguisher cabinets 13-8 13-7. Missing guard on mixer in Cat. building. Several fire extinguishers were one month out of date - 16-18, 16-19, 16-8, 16-5. Eye baths in 13D had lew water pressure. Handrail missing on scaffold at 992Z1. 3 ladders in 13/14 need inspecting - No tags. No one knows why barricade tape was up near control room. Several hoses left unracked in 13/14. Tripping hazard - pipe on ground East of #2 furnace. Large fire extinguisher covered by ladder tarp in 15D. No light above safety shewer on 4th floor near stairs - 16D. Light out above safety Shewer near 16T7. 4th floor isles cluttered in 16D. Two chain operated valves need safety chains above 16E29-3. No tags on RV.'s on 15S16-2 15S5-2. No bleeder on N^ station by elevator - 15D. Signs in pipe racks need attention. Housekeeping Signs need attention. Catalyst building needs attention. Generally poor housekeeping in 13/14. Kitchen at Styrene offices dirty. Base of 14D3 cluttered with wire, insulation N,, hose. Safety shewer bleeding at 13K101. Pallet near spare valve rack in 13D. Clutter near 13T9-2. Wooden pipe support on 13P27. Maint. Shop needs attention. SC 000608 LAN1001806 NS I area cluttered, unracked hoses. 16T14 pit full of water. Large ol1/water pool near 16T29. Dept. 15 housekeeping - good. Poor housekeeping In Dept. 16. Trash in 14D4 skirt. Scaffold rack a mess on 3rd floor 16D. Loose scaffolding in area - Dept. 15.
