On February 19, 1976 I had a telephone conversation with Mr. Steve Myking of the lav/ firm of Seyforth, Shaw, Fairweather & Gepaldson, attorneys for Johns-Manville Fiber Glass Inc. Mr. Myking wanted to know if FDA had ever published a notice in the Federal Register to the effect that on April 11, 1975, Johns-Manville had submitted written objections to the regulations published in Federal Register of March 14, 1975 under the heading "Asbestos Form Particles in Drugs for Parenteral Injection." I informed Mr. Myking that FDA had not published such a notice. I further informed him that the agency was preparing a reply to the objections submitted by Johns-Manville and that hopefully the reply would be forthcoming shortly.
