Hi Aurelia,
Thanks for taking the time to talk, it was good catching up with you. As discussed, EWAC has been putting some thought to the ESA general habitat definition in response to the Weyerhaeuser SCOTUS decision and subsequent remands, and would like to come in and meet with you, Andrea, and Margaret to share our views. EWAC has long tracked this issue and filed amicus briefs at both the cert. petition and merits stage of the Weyerhaeuser case, and believe we bring a unique perspective as to how the issue of habitat designation (general and critical) affects the electric power sector (both generation and transmission/distribution) and broader economy.
If possible we would like to schedule a meeting during the of weeks of May 13th, May 27th, and if neither of those work June 3rd or 4th. Let me know what might work for you all and we can get something on the calendar.
Thanks again. Have a great evening.
John
