Stranded Copper
Fire-Retardant Tape*
FIREWALL' HI POWER CABLE IUL) TVPE TC
Crost-Unked Polyethylene
Neoprene Sheath
FIREWALL III MULTICONDUCTOR JACKETED, N.E.C. Type TC 600 Volts, Max- Operating Temp. 90 C.
CONSTRUCTION: Conductors are stranded tinned copper insulated with flame-retardant cross-linked polyethylene, circuit coded, conductors cabled with fillers as necessary. Cabled conductors are wrapped with fire retardant tape and jacketed with heavy duty, flame-retardant neoprene sheath.
APPLICATION: Recommended for power circuits where fire and radiation resistant properties are re quired. Suitable for general use at 90C and recom mended for industrial and utility installations in con duit, tray, duct or direct burial. UL listed as Type TC
cable meeting requirements of Article 340 of N.E.C
ADVANTAGES: Have excellent electrical and mechan ical properties. They are lightweight, small diameter cable and are operative after radiation exposure m excess of 2 x 10* Rads, followed by post-accident en vironmental conditions. Cable meets IEEE 383-74 in addition to singles meeting UL and IPCEA Vertical Flame Test requirements. Cables will not propagate flame during a cable tray fire and will also maintain electrical integrity long enough to satisfy posi-acoideut safety requirements.
