Hammann Bob, since we're getting into an ongoing program on eye safety, I would like to initiate a study and/or expansion of the selection of safety glasses allowed by Monsanto for female employees. I recently (within the last 3 months) got new safety glasses (Monsanto's approved selection) from Professional Optical in Texas City. I found the selection to be very small and very unbecoming. While I realize safety glasses are for safety and not for looks, I also know other plants in the area have expanded their approved selection to include more feminine frames. For women who must wear their glasses all day and their prescription is not within the range for plastic lenses, this expanded selection includes smaller, lighter weight frames, too.
