Sanborn visited the Diamond 3S, LLC oil production facility located in the Latitude: 36.587028, Longitude: -96.498042 near Pawhuska, on August 27, 2018. No representative of Diamond 3S, LLC was present for the inspection. The inspection was conducted by authority of the Safe Drinking Water Act and the Clean Water Act to determine compliance with the Environmental Prote ction Agency (EPA) regulations. FACILITY DESCRIPTION This injection well is known as the Kennedy 3 well and the lease is known as the Kennedy Lease. Section II - OBSERVATIONS I observed that there was contaminated dirt still on the lease roads during the inspection. The tributary had elevated Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) readings. With a calibrated YSI Pro 30 Conductivity Meter, TDS readings between 7,000 mg/L and 17,000 mg/L were taken. The tributary was not flowing during the inspection. I did not observed remedial activities during the inspection. The injection well known as the Kennedy 3 was not injection during the inspection. Section III - AREAS OF CONCERN There were elevated levels of TDS in the tributary during the inspection. Section IV - FOLLOW UP Conduct a follow up inspection as needed.
