Wilkening Bell Telephone Laboratories Legal Mr, Andrew Kalmykow, American Insurance Association, Chairman of the Legal Committee reported that the Committee met in New York on June 19, 1967, to review several items of IHF business with Dr. deT*eville, including the proposed agreement with the University of Pittsburgh, the proposed Annual Meeting .program, and the proposed Medical Series Bulletin on "The Pneumoconioses. " ' Among other items covered on the agenda were tax credit for industrial hygiene controls, loss of hearing, atomic energy, medicare and medicaid. Two obligations of the Legal Committee are (1) to keep the Foundation's membership informed and (2) to inetill rationality into programs. Plans were discussed for increasing the Committee's involvement in providing services to the membership and, as a first step, a questionnaire is being prepared by Dr. deTreville as a means of obtaining suggestions from the Committee's membership.
