PFOA and PFOS Health Advisories SUMMARY OF UNREGULATED CONTAMINANT MONITORING INFORMATION EPA's third Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule (UCMR 3) required approximately 5,000 public water systems to monitor for PFOA and PFOS between January 2013 and December 2015.
