Thank you for your .recent letter and the interett in our Dramex Powder Texture. Paint, which product has been used with considerable satisfaction in literally thousands of applications throughout the United States and Canada.
I believe the incident to that of which you refer involved a school on the east coast and possibly a spray applied sim&lated acoustic texturing product.
In any case, you will be interested to note that many of our products are al ready being produced on an ASBBSTOS FREE basis and we expteettin the very near future to switch over to HON-ASBESTOS formulation with tile 5$ sie and 25# size of Dramex Powder Texture Paint as well.
The NON-ASBESTOS. formulation should begin appearing on the retailers shelves with in the next several months.

The file attached, hereto, is selfexplanatory and it certainly would appear that Myrle is going to fight us every step of the way although he has now conceited to putting a warning label on his Pre-Mixed' Joint Cement can.
You w'ill note I've asked him for a specific target date on going non-asbestos so if he doesn't give me a reply at a matter of a couple of weeks, I'll followup again to pin down a definite time especially since we've made an informal, commitment to the insurance company.

-A Thanks for the above -- in talking with Myrle Self, he has told me that he would like to give me all of the information that he has on asbestos, formulations, and everything which applies to this when I see him in Dallas on Ma rch 17.
i told him that we will look at all of the information that he hap, most likely bring this back to Medina so that we can review everything with ourselves and Johnson Higgins -- with this in mind that he is accumulating everythings which he feels to be pertinent to asbestos elimination, we may want to wait until I bring all of this back before suggesting any further steps to him.
