COMPETITIVE JOINT CEMENT PRODUCTS
Introduction: Drywall joint cements are shipped as powders that are mixed with water by the applicator and as pastes that are pre-mixed with water by the joint cement manufacturer.
Sampling:
The products included in this investigation are competitive products that are said to be equal or superior to the G-P products in their respective market areas.
Testing: Each product was subjected to the battery of tests that we use in all new formulation work.
Conclusions: The overall performance of the two G-P products tested can be judged as competitive with competition. All of the products tested gave

some indication of not being competitive in certain categories. The following tables indicate what these weaknesses are in direct comparTSHfi to the other products. It should be noted that in the tables, sanding is noted as a number. The higher the number, the
easier the product is to sand.
