Dear Ed*
In regards to our use of 5R fiber over the es timated 500 ST for the year 1967, provided we can sell our production we will probably use an additional 400 to 500 tons of 5R. Our 4T requirements for balance of year based on this estimate will be around 2000 ST. We are using a 5 to 1 ratio of 4T to 5R.
Regards,
Very truly yours.

Att: Mr. R. P. Cacnon
Dear Sir
Re : sbestos Fiber Sales Agreement
Eased upon my knowledge of the asbestos cement pipe industry,* I believe Capco Pipe Company, ("Capco") has over the years paid | Lac D'Amiante du Quebec, ("LAQ") a higher price for 4D, 4T andf5K. fiber than other asbestos cement pipe companies in the world. - * Therefore, I propose that the LAQ/Capco asbestos fiber sales agreement dated November 11, 1963, be cancelled and replaced with a new contract.
I request that the new agreement provide that in the future LAQ will sell asbestos cement grade fiber (4D, 4T and 5R) to
apco at a 7% disco-nt which is the current fair market value from he non Canadian list price for asbestos fiber.
In consideration for the new purchase contract, Capco will agree to a new two year agreement and will further agree to take a minimum of 2,500 tons for each of these two years.
I would appreciate your response to my proposal at your earliest possible opportunity.
Sincerely
WW: od
