disposal Federal,
Dispose of material as solid waste in a closed State and Local regulations should be observed when
disposing.
HEALTH HAZARD DATA
Eye Contact: May cause irritation. Skin Contact: May cause irritation and/or dermatitis. Inhalation: Treat as nuisance dust. Avoid breathing processing vapors which will irritate respiratory tract. Under any condition (processing, decomposition, etc.), symptoms such as coughing, tearing, and irritation should be regarded as potentially hazardous and measures taken to avoid
exposure. Acute toxicity: No known erfects.
Eyes: In case of contact, immediately rlush eyes with flowing water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting upper and lower lids, until no evidence of chemical remains. Get medical attention. Skin: Wash area with mild soap and water. Inhalation: Move exposed individual to fresh air. Call a physician.____ ____

materials during processing. If processed together, these materials may be mutually destructive and degrade rapidly. Prevent cross contamination-of feedstocks. Thoroughly purge and mechanically clean processing equipment to
prevent these materials from coming in contact with each other.
Hazardous polymerization: Will not occur.
^.
Hazardous decomposition products: Carbon monoxide* carbon dioxide, various
oxidized and non-oxidized hydrocarbons, hydrogen chloride, chlorinated
hydrocarbons.
SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION
Ventilation: Local exhaust is recommended. Virtually all thermoplastic materials will emit fumes and/or vapors when heated to processing temperatures. The concentration of these emissions in the workplace air will depend upon variables such as the specific compound formulation, amount processed, processing method and temperature and the effectiveness of exhaust ventilation. Always use CPVC compound under well-ventilated conditions and avoid continued or prolonged breathing of process vapors. Processing fume condensate may include toxic contaminates and should be periodically removed from exhaust hoods, ductwork and other surfaces. Rubber gloves should be worn during cleanup operations to prevent skin
contact.
Respiratory protection: Use NIOSH approved high efficiency dust respirator when dusty conditions prevail. No TLV-TWA has been established for this dust. The AGCIH recommend that nuisance particulates be limited to 10 mg/ M3, total dust. Abnormal conditions such as equipment malfunction, use of improper equipment or procedures, or hangup or stagnation of compound during processing may cause decomposition. If general dilution or local exhaust ventilation is not adequate to keep fume or vapor concentrations at non-irritating levels, then employees involved in removing decomposing material must be provided with suitable air supplied respirators, such as NIOSH/MSHA approved positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus. Eye and face protection: Chemical workers goggles. Do not wear contact
lenses. Other clothing and equipment: An eyewash and emergency shower should be readily available. Launder contaminated clothing before reuse.
