Vossel docked at Pier #8 at 2 p.m. - 8/22/74 Draft aft 24' - fwd 15' DSCG & AES surveys commenced in order to complete by end of current yard period the major portion of the 4-year special survey and to take advantage of the year of grace period to complete same in 1975.
Left Pier #8 - 8/24/74 @ 0830 - entered #10 dry dock <3 930 - draft aft 20' 10" fwd 12' 2" - adjusted draft to 20' aft and 13/ fwd. On blocks 1430 hrs - vessel dry 1600 Position on blocks #1.
Dxydock #10 - 9/3/74 - 1500 hrs. started flooding dock -- 1545 afloat - 1645 stopped flooding - 5 ft of water in aft pumproom. Located problem of valve open - pumped out pumproom. 1811 -- resumed flooding 1852. Opened gates - 1900 single up, 1910 - moved vessel out of drydock, 1920 clear of drydock, 2040 all fast - stbd side of berth #4.
Repairs were carried out in accordance with attached yard specifications with comments as follows;
